HI, I AM SUMAYA
I’ve always been fascinated by the world of photography, growing up with my dad’s many photo albums of his travels & youth. Weekends often meant setting up the projector in our living room, clicking through film slides, and learning the stories and processes behind each image.
My photography journey began during my last year of high school when I started taking senior portraits for classmates and friends. Those early days of experimenting with my camera laid the foundation for what would soon become my lifelong passion.
Guided by the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, I find endless inspiration in the natural beauty that surrounds me. From outdoor sessions to intimate studio shoots, I work primarily with natural light and organic elements, allowing moments to unfold. Since 2020, I’ve dedicated myself to the art and am so grateful to be doing what I do. I book primarily all over Washington but I travel wherever my work will take me.
